Associate Consultant – Strategy & Research

Tarutium seeks to engage a dynamic, analytical, and self-driven professional for the role of Associate Consultant – Strategy & Research to support strategic research, project design and implementation, knowledge development, and institutional growth initiatives. Key Roles and Responsibilities:

Ideation & Project Development

  • Support stakeholder mapping and partnership development
  • Contribute to strategy development for project development and institutional growth.
  • Support development of concept notes and RFPs/RFQs/EOIs towards market-driven institutional
    growth activities
  • Lead and support secondary and primary research and strategic data analysis, prepare reports and
    presentations.

Project Management

  • Support in project planning and project management: design, plan, and manage activities towards effective and timely delivery of projects.
  • Take ownership of project deliverables and its content whilst maintaining high standards of quality and support in their delivery according to client satisfaction and internal and contract requirements.
  • Engage with clients and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle; undertake client meetings and field visits where required.
  • Provide regular progress updates to senior leadership.
  • Undertake any other responsibilities as assigned.

Knowledge Management

  • Develop knowledge products for publication such as report and articles/white papers.
  • Contribute to the knowledge initiatives through organizing events to boost sector engagement.
  • Support dissemination of Tarutium’s knowledge insights and outputs.

Qualification & Experience

  • Master’s degree in Public Policy/Economics/Development Studies/Urban Studies and/or related field.
  • 2-3 years’ experience in development sector and/or private sector
  • Strong experience in research, strategy, and analytical writing.
  • Ability to analyze data and derive insights.
  • Knowledge of tools like SPSS, Stata, Excel, or Power BI is an advantage.
  • Superior writing and presentation skills; adept with MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and related tools.
  • Resilient under pressure; able to navigate dynamic, fast-paced environments and manage risks effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and in teams under deadlines.
  • Adaptive work style aligned with organizational culture and leadership expectations.
